Born and raised in the mountains of North Carolina I've been surrounded by the beautiful and wondrous works of God all my life - and I wouldn't want it any other way. I earned my bachelors degree in Religious Studies/Communications at Appalachian State University where I continued in my love for the mountains by way of hiking, biking, frisbee throwing and camping. I take time every now and then to strum the acoustic guitar and have been picking and grinning for close to 8 years. I met the most beautiful, loving woman in the world while working at a summer camp in Hendersonville, and we later married in May, 2011. Whitney and I now reside in the area surrounding Asheville, NC where I continue my work with the American Red Cross as a Customer Service Specialist/Platelet Recruiter.
In summary:
I am a biker, a hiker, and a guitar player,
I am a husband, a son, and a friend maker,
I am a pursuer of God
I seek to make peace, not simply keep it,
I seek to sow love, not simply reep it,
I seek to free those bound by death
I hold on to what is good, and to what brings life
I hold on to what is true, and to what is right
I hold on to Light Himself
And I say "Lets live and help live."
